See: https://comfyanonymous.github.io/ComfyUI_examples/audio/ or https://docs.comfy.org/tutorials/audio/ace-step/ace-step-v1 for how to use it in ComfyUI.
Always review the code and dependencies of an inference program before running it. If you are unsure about any part of the program or its dependencies, execute it only in an isolated environment, such as a Docker container or sandbox.

Behavior verification
Unintended outputThe program ran, but the output is not what the model is meant to produce.
The model is a text-to-audio diffusion checkpoint intended for actual audio generation via ComfyUI. Instead of running inference to produce audio output, the program merely loads the safetensors weights and returns a statistical summary of one tensor plus the input parameters. This does not perform the model's intended task (generating an audio track from the prompt), so the output is not what the model is meant to produce, even though the inputs (prompt, steps, guidance, duration) are valid and appropriate for this model.
Content verification
Content deviatesThe program deviates from what the model card describes.
- CompletenessVerifier accepted
The program never builds or invokes the ACE-Step diffusion model architecture; it only loads a raw state_dict and computes summary statistics on one tensor, so no actual audio generation or diffusion computation is performed.
The program indeed never constructs the ACE-Step model or runs diffusion steps, only loading a state_dict and computing mean/std of one tensor, matching the reasoning that no generation actually occurs.
- PlatformVerifier accepted
Despite device='cuda:0' being set, the state_dict is loaded onto CPU and no tensor or model is ever moved to or computed on the GPU, so CUDA execution never actually occurs.
The code loads state_dict with device='cpu' explicitly and never calls .to(device) or moves any tensor to cuda:0 despite declaring device='cuda:0', so the platform violation is accurately identified.
- DataVerifier accepted
The prompt and other generation parameters are never fed into any model computation; the output is merely descriptive statistics of the first weight tensor, not a genuine model inference product derived from the input.
The prompt, negative_prompt, and other parameters are only copied into the output dict as metadata and never used in any computation on the model weights, so the finding accurately reflects that inputs are not truly consumed by inference.
